This year KOA’s Haunted Hollar is working with
two different charities. One is KOA Care Camp for kids with
cancer. KOA
Kampground Owners Association created the Care Camps Trust-to help children who have cancer enjoy care-free time focusing
on fun, friends and activities at sleep-away camp instead of on their illness.
The Care Camps
trust provides financial support to more than 30 special nonprofit camps located throughout the United States and Canada.
These facilities are fully-equipped with the necessary medical supplies and volunteer professional staff to care for campers'
cancer-related needs.
The
second one is, Second Harvest Food Drive. Second
Harvest Food Bank is a non-profit organization serving the eight counties in Northeast Tennessee with emergency food for distribution.
We secure food from local and national manufacturers, grocers, restaurants and redistribute it to 200 food pantries, soup
kitchens, children’s programs and other non-profit charities that feed the hungry in the area.
